Privacy Policy

Effective June 18, 2026. This page is maintained by Tooth Acres Dentistry to answer common questions about how we handle information on this website.

1. About this policy

Tooth Acres Dentistry ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at toothacresmountdora.com. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only — it does not describe how protected health information is handled at our dental practice, which is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA).

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact & appointment forms. Your name, email, phone number, preferred appointment time, and anything you choose to share in the message field.
  • Phone calls. If you call our office, we may keep notes about the reason for your call and your contact details so we can follow up.
  • Email. Messages you send to office@toothacresmountdora.com are received and stored by our email provider.

Information collected automatically

  • Cookies & similar technologies. See Section 3 below.
  • Device & usage information. Browser type, operating system, screen size, referring page, and pages visited. This is used to keep the site secure and to improve performance.
  • Approximate location. Derived from your IP address (e.g. city or region) — never precise GPS unless you give your browser explicit permission.
  • Analytics & marketing pixels. Only loaded after you opt in through our cookie banner.

3. Cookies

We use cookies in five categories: strictly necessary, functional, analytics, marketing, and advertising. Only strictly necessary cookies load before you make a choice. You can change your preferences at any time using the link in the footer.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (security, form submission, remembering your cookie choice). Always on.
  • Functional — remembers preferences such as accessibility settings.
  • Analytics — helps us understand which pages are useful.
  • Marketing — measures email and campaign performance.
  • Advertising — measures ad performance and may show relevant offers on other sites.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to appointment requests, calls, and emails.
  • To schedule, confirm, and follow up on visits to our office.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this website.
  • With your consent, to measure marketing performance and send relevant updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

5. Data retention

Appointment requests and contact-form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide care and meet our recordkeeping obligations. Website analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's defaults (typically up to 14 months). Cookie consent records are retained to demonstrate compliance.

6. Third-party providers

We share information only with the service providers necessary to run this website and our practice. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

  • Hosting & infrastructure — Cloudflare (CDN, DDoS protection, edge delivery).
  • Database & backend — our managed backend provider stores appointment requests and consent records.
  • Google — Google Maps for our office location and, with your analytics consent, Google Analytics for aggregate site usage.
  • Email delivery — transactional email (e.g. appointment confirmations to our office) is sent through a third-party email provider.

If we add new providers (for example payment processing, SMS reminders, or advertising platforms), this policy will be updated and — where required by law — your consent will be requested before any new tracking begins.

7. Your choices & rights

  • Cookies. Manage your preferences anytime via .
  • Access, correction, deletion. Contact us using the details below to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion (subject to legal recordkeeping requirements).
  • Marketing email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Do Not Track. Our cookie banner is the authoritative way to opt out of non-essential tracking on this site.

8. Sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. If we ever choose to participate in lawful data partnerships, we will update this policy and, where applicable, request your consent first.

9. Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information through this website may contact us to have it removed.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect information submitted through this website. No internet transmission is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk.

11. International visitors

Our office is located in the United States and our website is intended for U.S. visitors. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
